You can build this real working, fully mechanical,
all LEGO pendulum clock!

It has some nice features:
- Very compact
- All LEGO (except for a piece of sewing thread, ca. 2m)
- Adjustable hands
- Winding mechanism
- Quite accurate
- Runs about half an hour without rewinding
