Reconstruction of the
Stonehenge Visitors Centre 30-06-2024 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed pentagon (regular 5-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Draw the five rays of pentagon 2, from the center to the angular points.

4. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of the lower righthand side of pentagon 2 and the horizontal centerline.

5. Construct a circle centered at the intersection of circle 4 and the upper ray 3, tangent to circle 1 at the upper side.

6. Construct a circle centered at the lower intersection of circle 5 and the upper ray 3, tangent to circle 4 at the upper side.

7. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 6 at the lower side.

8. Construct the inscribed pentagon of circle 7, pointing up.

9. Draw the five diagonals of pentagon 8.

10. Construct the inscribed circle of the pentagon enclosed by diagonals 9.

11. Construct the inscribed pentagon of circle 4, pointing up.

12. Copy circle 10 five times, to the angular points of pentagon 11.

13. Copy circle 10 one more time, to its own intersection with the upper ray 3.

14. Construct a circle centered at the upper angular point of pentagon 8, tangent to circle 13 at the upper side.

15. Copy circle 14 four times, to the other angular points of pentagon 8.

16. Construct a circle centered at the intersection of the lower side of pentagon 8 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 7 at the lower side.

17. Copy circle 16 five times, to the angular points of pentagon 2.

18. Copy circle 16 one more time, to the lower intersection of circle 14 and the upper ray 3.

19. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 18 at the lower side.

20. Construct the inscribed pentagon of circle 19, pointing up.

21. Copy circle 10 five times, to the angular points of pentagon 20.

22. Construct a circle centered at the upper angular point of pentagon 2, tangent to upper circle 12 at the upper side.

23. Copy circle 22 five times, to the other angular points of pentagon 2, and to the center of circle 1.

24. Construct five pairs of parallel lines, parallel to rays 3, tangent to circles 22 and 23 at both sides. See details.

25. Circles 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, and 21, and lines 24, are used for the final reconstruction.

26. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
