Reconstruction of the
Roundway Hill 13-08-2023 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct two inscribed nonagons (regular 9-sided polygons) of circle 1, one pointing up, one pointing down.

3. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the mutual intersections of nonagons 2.

4. Construct two inscribed nonagons of circle 3, one pointing up, one pointing down. Number the angular points, clockwise, 1 - 18, starting at the top.

5. Draw the diagonal 1-7 (between angular points 4 nrs. 1 and 7), and repeat this seventeen times, for the other corresponding pairs of angular points.

6. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the innermost mutual intersections of diagonals 5.

7. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 6, pointing up.

8. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 7.

9. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 8, pointing up.

10. Construct a circle centered at the top of hexagon 9, tangent to diagonal 6-18.

11. Copy circle 10 to the center of circle 1.

12. Draw the four diagonals 2-12, 3-13, 7-17, and 8-18.

13. Construct the "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the intersection of diagonals 2-12 and 8-18, and the intersection of diagonals 3-13 and 7-17.

14. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 13.

15. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 14, pointing up.

16. Copy circle 13 five times, to the other angular points of hexagon 15.

17. Construct the "two-points" circle between the righthand intersections of circle 14 and hexagon 15 with the horizontal centerline.

18. Copy circle 17 six times, to the centers of circles 13 and 16.

19. Construct three pairs of parallel lines, one pair parallel to the vertical centerline, the other two correspondingly, all tangent to circles 18 at both sides, as shown.

20. Circles 1, 6, 8, 11, 13, and 16, lines 5 and 19, and hexagon 9, are used for the final reconstruction.

21. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
