Reconstruction of the
Hetty Pegler's Tump Long Barrow 24-06-2023 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct a circle tangent to both upper sides of triangle 2 and tangent to circle 1 at the lower side.

4. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down.

5. Construct a circle tangent to both lower sides of triangle 4 and tangent to circle 1 at the upper side. Notice, that circles 3 and 5 make up a "Vesica Pisces": two equal circles passing through each other's center.

6. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersection of circle 3 and the lower intersection of circle 5, both with the vertical centerline.

7. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circles 3 and 5, passing through the upper intersection of circle 6 and the vertical centerline.

8. Copy circle 7 to the center of circle 1.

9. Construct the inscribed nonagon (regular 9-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

10. Construct the inscribed circle of nonagon 9.

11. Construct a circle centered at the lower intersection of circle 10 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 1 at the lower side.

12. Copy circle 11 to the lower intersection of circle 8 and the vertical centerline.

13. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 12 at the upper side.

14. Circles 1, 6, 8, 10, and 13, together, make up the final reconstruction.
