Reconstruction of the
Cley Hill 10-08-2023 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed nonagon (regular 9-sided polygon) of cirle 1, pointing up.

3. Draw the diagonal of nonagon 2 from the top to the lower lefthand angular point.

4. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of diagonal 3 and the horizontal centerline.

5. Draw the diagonal of nonagon 2 from the lower lefthand to the upper righthand angular point, next to the top.

6. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 4 and the horizontal centerline, passing through the intersection of the horizontal centerline and diagonal 5.

7. Copy circle 6 to the top of nonagon 2.

8. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 7 at the upper side.

9. Circles 1, 4, and 8, together, make up the final reconstruction.
