1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed hexagon (6-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing to the right.

3. Construct a circle centered at the righthand angular point of hexagon 2, passing through the center of circle 1.

4. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 1, pointing up.

5. Construct a circle centered at the lower righthand angular point of hexagon 4, passing through the center of circle 1.

6. Construct a circle centered at the upper righthand angular point of hexagon 4, passing through the righthand angular point of hexagon 2.

7. Construct the circumscribed hexagon of circle 1, pointing up.

8. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of circle 5 and the righthand side of hexagon 7.

9. Construct a circle centered at the intersection of the upper righthand sides of hexagons 2 and 4, tangent to circle 5 at the near side.

10. Copy circle 9 to the center of circle 1.

11. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 9 at the upper righthand side.

12. Construct a circle concentric to circle 9, tangent to circle 1 at the near side.

13. Copy circle 12 to the center of circle 1.

14. Construct a circle concentric to circle 9, tangent to circle 8 at the near side.

15. Copy circle 14 to the center of circle 1.

16. Remove all redundant parts from circles 3, 5, 6, and 15, such that...

17. ...this pattern remains.

18. Repeat all necessary steps to copy and rotate pattern 17 five times, with respect to the other angular points of hexagon 2.

19. Circles 1, 8, 10, 11, and 13, and patterns 17, and 18, together, make up the final reconstruction.
