Reconstruction of the
Little Nutford 23-08-2021 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed pentagon (regular five-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing down.

3. Draw the connecting line between the upper intersection of circle 1 and the vertical centerline and the upper lefthand angular point of pentagon 2.

4. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 3.

5. Construct a circle centered at the lower angular point of pentagon 2, passing through its righthand angular point.

6. Construct a circle centered at the righthand angular point of pentagon 2, passing through its lower angular point.

7. Construct a circle centered at the lefthand angular point of pentagon 2, passing through its lower angular point.

8. Construct a circle centered at the upper righthand angular point of pentagon 2, passing through its upper lefthand angular point.

9. Construct a circle centered at the upper lefthand angular point of pentagon 2, passing through its upper righthand angular point.

10. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the righthand intersection of circle 5 and the horizontal centerline.

11. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersections of circle 5 with circles 6 and 7.

12. Copy circle 11 to the center of circle 1.

13. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circles 6 and 7, tangent to circle 10 at the upper side.

14. Copy circle 13 to the center of circle 1.

15. Construct the inscribed pentagon of circle 14, pointing up.

16. Construct a circle tangent to the upper righthand side of pentagon 15 at the outside, and tangent to circles 5 and 7 at the insides, as shown.

17. Copy circle 16 five times, to the angular points of pentagon 15.

18. Construct a "two-points" circle between the lower intersections of circles 1 and 4 with the vertical centerline.

19. Construct a circle concentric to circle 6, passing through the center of circle 18.

20. Copy circle 19 four times, to the centers of circles 5, 7, 8, and 9.

21. Circles 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 17, 19, and 20, are used for the final reconstruction.

22. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
