Reconstruction of the
The Ridgeway 23-07-2020 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed regular 20-sided polygon of circle 1, pointing up. Number the angular points clockwise 1 - 20, starting at the top.
These numbers will also be used to denote angular points of subsequent regular polygons.

3. Draw the connecting line between angular points nrs. 4 and 8 of polygon 2.

4. Repeat step 3 nine times, for all other pairs of corresponding even-numbered angular points.

5. Draw the connecting line between angular points nrs. 3 and 9 of the decagon (regular 10-sided polygon), enclosed by lines 3 and 4.

6. Repeat step 5 nine times, for all other pairs of corresponding odd-numbered angular points.

7. Draw two connecting lines, from angular point nr. 6 of polygon 2, to angular points nrs. 5 and 7 of the decagon enclosed by lines 5 and 6.

8. Repeat step 7 nine times, for all other corresponding triplets, with respect to the even-numbered angular points of polygon 2, as shown.

9. Construct the inscribed circle of the decagon, enclosed by lines 5 and 6.

10. Construct the inscribed pentagon (regular 5-sided polygon) of circle 9, pointing up.

11. Construct the inscribed pentagon of circle 9, pointing down.

12. Construct the inscribed circle of pentagon 10.

13. Construct a circle centered at the rightmost intersection of pentagons 10 and 11, tangent to circle 12 at the righthand side.

14. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 13 at the righthand side.

15. Construct a pentagram (regular five-pointed star) by drawing all five diagonals of pentagon 10.

16. Construct a pentagram by drawing all five diagonals of pentagon 11.

17. Construct the circumscribed decagon of circle 1, pointing up.

18. Construct the circumscribed circle of decagon 17.

19. Construct the circumscribed decagon of circle 18, pointing to the right.

20. Draw the connecting line between angular points nrs. 6 and 18 of decagon 19.

21. Repeat step 20 nine times, for all other corresponding pairs of angular points.

22. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 1 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to line 20.

23. Copy circle 22 two times, to the end-points of line 3.

24. Construct a line parallel to line 3, tangent to circles 23 at the outer (righthand) sides.

25. Repeat steps 23 and 24 nine times, with respect to lines 4.

26. Copy circle 22 two times, to the end-points of line 5.

27. Construct a line parallel to line 5, tangent to circles 26 at the inner (lefthand) sides.

28. Repeat steps 26 and 27 nine times, with respect to lines 6.

29. Copy circle 22 two times, to angular points nrs. 1 and 9 of pentagon 10. See detail.

30. Construct a line parallel to the diagonal between angular points nrs. 1 and 9 of pentagon 10, tangent to circles 29 at the outer (righthand) sides. See detail.

31. Repeat steps 29 and 30 nine times, with respect to the other sides of pentagrams 15 and 16. See detail.

32. Circles 12, 14, and 18, lines 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30, and 31, and pentagrams 15 and 16, are used for the final reconstruction.

33. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
