Reconstruction of the
Keysley Down 10-06-2018 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down.

3. Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 2.

4. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 3, pointing up.

5. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 4.

6. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 5, pointing to the right.

7. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 6.

8. Construct a circle centered at the intersection of the upper side of triangle 2 and the vertical centerline, passing through the upper righthand angular point of hexagon 6.

9. Copy circle 8 three times, to the angular points of triangle 2.

10. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 5, pointing to the right.

11. Construct a circle concentric to the lower circle 9, passing through the lower intersection of circle 7 and the lefthand side of triangle 10.

12. Copy circle 11 two times, to the centers of the other circles 9.

13. Draw three rays of circle 1, to the angular points of triangle 2.

14. Construct a circle centered at the intersection of the upper righthand circle 9 and ray 13, passing through the intersection of circle 11 and ray 13.

15. Copy circle 14 two times, to the corresponding intersections of the other circles 9 and rays 13.

16. Copy circle 14 to the intersection of circle 3 and the upper righthand ray 13.

17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 16 at the upper righthand side.

18. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 7 and passing through the righthand intersection of circle 5, both with the horizontal centerline.

19. Copy circle 18 to the righthand intersection of circle 17 and the horizontal centerline.

20. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 19 at the righthand side.

21. Construct a circle, tangent to circle 7 (from the outside), and tangent to the righthand sides of hexagon 6.

22. Copy circle 21 four times, to the centers of circles 1 and 9.

23. Construct three pairs of parallel lines, parallel to rays 13, tangent to circles 22 at both sides.

24. Circles 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, and 20, and lines 23, are used for the final reconstruction.

25. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
