Reconstruction of the
Oxleaze Copse 21-05-2017 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed decagon (regular 10-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct the inscribed circle of decagon 2.

4. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 3, pointing up.

5. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 3, pointing to the left.

6. Draw a line from the center of circle 1 to the upper intersection of triangles 4 and 5. Extend this line upto circle 3.

7. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the top of triangle 4 and the intersection of circle 3 and line 6.

8. Draw a line between the centers of circles 1 and 7. Extend this line upto circle 3.

9. Construct the inscribed regular 24-sided polygon of circle 3, with one angular point coincident with the intersection of line 8 and circle 3.

10. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 1 and the vertical centerline, passing through the second angular point of polygon 9, to the right from the top of triangle 4, as shown.

11. Copy circle 10 to the center of circle 1.

12. Construct the larger circle, passing through the upper intersection of circle 11 and the vertical centerline, tangent to the lefthand and to the righthand sides of triangle 4, as shown.

13. Draw twenty-four rays, from the center of circle 12 to the angular points of polygon 9.

14. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 3 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 1 at the upper side.

15. Copy circle 14 to the upper intersection of circle 11 and the vertical centerline.

16. Construct a circle concentric to circle 11, tangent to circle 15 at the lower side.

17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 12, tangent to circle 15 at the lower side.

18. Construct a circle centered at the lower intersection of circle 14 and the vertical centerline, tangent to its upper side.

19. Copy circle 18 to the center of circle 12.

20. Circles 1, 3, 11, 12 16, 17, and 19, and lines 13, are used for the final reconstruction.

21. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
