Reconstruction of the
White Sheet Hill 29-06-2016 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed pentagon (regular 5-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up. Number the angular points clockwise 1 - 5, starting at the top.

3. Draw the five diagonals of pentagon 2.

4. Draw the five diagonals of the pentagon enclosed by diagonals 3.

5. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the mutual intersections of diagonals 4.

6. Construct the inscribed circle of pentagon 2.

7. Construct the inscribed pentagon of circle 6, pointing down. Number the angular points clockwise 6 - 10, starting at the lower angular point.

8. Draw the five diagonals of pentagon 7.

9. Draw the five diagonals of the pentagon enclosed by diagonals 8.

10. Construct the inscribed circle of the pentagon enclosed by diagonals 9.

11. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of the lower righthand diagonal 9 and the horizontal centerline, as shown.

12. Copy circle 11 five times, to the angular points of pentagon 7.

13. Construct the circumscribed circle of the pentagon (passing through its angular points), enclosed by the upper side of pentagon 7, by diagonals 1-3 (from angular point 1 to angular point 3) and 1-4, and by diagonals 7-9 and 8-10.

14. Copy circle 13 to the center of circle 1.

15. Construct a circle centered at the intersection of the upper side of pentagon 7 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 13 at the upper side.

16. Copy circle 15 to the top of pentagon 2.

17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 16 at the upper side.

18. Construct a circle centered at the upper, and passing through the lower intersections of circle 16 and the vertical centerline.

19. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 18 at the upper side.

20. Copy circle 15 to the upper intersection of circle 18 and the vertical centerline.

21. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 20 at the upper side.

22. Circles 5, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, and 21, and pentagon 2, are used for the final reconstruction.

23. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
