Reconstruction of the
Großziethen (Germany) 15-05-2016 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Copy circle 1 two times, to the righthand and upper intersections of circle 1 and the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

3. Draw the connecting line between the mutual intersections of circles 2.

4. Construct the inscribed dodecagon (regular 12-sided polygon) of circle 1, with one angular point on line 3.

5. Construct the inscribed circle of dodecagon 4.

6. Construct a circle, passing through the upper and adjacent righthand intersections of dodecagon 4 and circle 5, and tangent to line 3.

7. Copy circle 6 to the center of circle 1.

8. Draw the twelve rays of dodecagon 4, from the center to the angular points.

9. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 5, pointing up.

10. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper angular point of hexagon 9 and the lower intersection of circle 7 and the vertical centerline.

11. Copy circle 10 five times, by repeating step 10 with respect to the other angular points of hexagon 9.

12. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 5, pointing to the right.

13. Construct a "two-points" circle between the righthand angular point of hexagon 12 and the lefthand intersection of circle 7 and the horizontal centerline.

14. Copy circle 13 five times, by repeating step 13 with respect to the other angular points of hexagon 12.

15. Circles 1, 5, 7, 10, 11, 13, and 14, are used for the final reconstruction.

16. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
