Reconstruction of the
Hoden 13-07-2013 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the circumscribed nonagon (regular 9-sided polygon) of circle 1, the mid-point of one side on the upper intersection with the vertical centerline.

3. Construct the circumscribed circle of nonagon 2.

4. Construct the circumscribed nonagon of circle 3, the mid-point of one side on the lower intersection with the vertical centerline.

5. Construct the circumscribed circle of nonagon 4.

6. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 1 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 5 at the upper side.

7. Copy circle 6 to the center of circle 1.

8. Construct a circle centered at the top of nonagon 4, passing through the adjacent righthand (and lefthand) angular point(s).

9. Copy circle 8 to the center of circle 1.

10. Construct a circle centered at the lower intersection of circle 6 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 9 at the upper side.

11. Copy circle 10 to the center of circle 6.

12. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 11 at the lower side.

13. Copy circle 1 to the center of circle 6.

14. Copy circle 1 to the lefthand intersection of circles 12 and 13.

15. Construct a circle concentric to circle 14, tangent to circle 7 at the far side.

16. Copy circle 10 to the lower intersection of circle 11 and the vertical centerline.

17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 16 at the lower side.

18. Copy circle 15 to the center of circle 6.

19. Copy circle 15 to the righthand intersection of circles 17 and 18.

20. Construct the inscribed nonagon of circle 12, one angular point coincident with the center of circle 14.

21. Copy circles 14 and 15 eight times, to the other angular points of nonagon 20.

22. Construct the inscribed nonagon of circle 17, one angular point coincident with the center of circle 19.

23. Copy circle 19 eight times, to the other angular points of nonagon 22.

24. Circles 5, 14, 15, 19, 21 and 23, are used for the final reconstruction.

25. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
