Reconstruction of the
Water Eaton Copse 12-05-2012 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 2.

4. Copy circle 1 two times, to its righthand and upper intersections with the horizontal and vertical centerlines respectively.

5. Draw the connecting line between both intersections of circles 4.

6. Construct the inscribed square of circle 1, with one angular point on line 5 (thus, with sides horizontal and vertical).

7. Construct the circumscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down.

8. Construct a circle centered at the upper righthand angular point of square 6, tangent to the upper side of triangle 7.

9. Copy circle 8 three times, to the other angular points of square 6.

10. Construct the circumscribed circle of triangle 7.

11. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the intersections of the righthand side of square 6 with the lower side of triangle 2 and the lower righthand circle 9.

12. Copy circle 11 to the righthand intersection of circle 1 and the horizontal centerline.

13. Construct two circles concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 12 at both sides.

14. Copy circle 11 to the righthand intersection of circle 10 and the horizontal centerline.

15. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 14 at the righthand side.

16. Copy circle 3 two times, to the intersections of circle 15 and the vertical centerline.

17. Draw the connecting line between the intersections of the lower circles 9 with the lefthand and righthand sides of square 6.

18. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 17.

19. Copy circle 18 two times, to the centers of circles 16.

20. Copy circle 8 two times, to the centers of circles 16.

21. Construct the circumscribed equilateral triangle of circle 18, pointing up.

22. Construct the circumscribed circle of triangle 21.

23. Copy circle 22 two times, to the intersections of circle 15 and the horizontal centerline.

24. Copy circle 11 to the center of the righthand circle 23.

25. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 24 at the righthand side.

26. Circles 3, 8, 9, 10, 13, 16, 19, 20, 23 and 25, are used for the final reconstruction.

27. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
