Reconstruction of the
Waden Hill 1-07-2012 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed dodecagon (regular 12-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct the inscribed circle of dodecagon 2.

4. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the righthand intersections of circles 1 and 3 with the horizontal centerline.

5. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 4.

6. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 5, pointing to the right.

7. Copy circle 5 six times, to the angular points of hexagon 6.

8. Copy circle 5 three times, to the upper, lower lefthand, and lower righthand, mutual intersections of circles 7.

9. Copy circle 5 six times, to the outermost intersections of circles 7 and 8.

10. Copy circle 5 six times, to the outermost intersections of circles 8 and 9.

11. Copy circle 3 six times, to the centers of circles 7.

12. From circles 11, remove all redundant parts, such that the shown pattern remains.

13. Copy pattern 12 nine times, to the centers of circles 7 and 8.

14. Copy circle 1 fifteen times, to the centers of circles 7, 8, and 10.

15. From circles 14, remove all redundant parts, such that the shown pattern remains.

16. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the inner intersections of the parts of pattern 12.

17. Copy circle 16 to its own upper intersection with the vertical centerline.

18. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 17 at the upper side.

19. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circles 10 at the outer sides.

20. Copy circle 18 to the upper intersection of circle 19 and the vertical centerline, and move this circle (copy and delete original) to its own corresponding intersection.

21. Copy circle 16 to the center of circle 20.

22. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 21.

23. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 22, pointing up.

24. Copy circles 16 and 18 two times, to the lower angular points of triangle 23.

25. Patterns 12, 13 and 15, and circles 20, 21 and 24, make up the final reconstruction.
