Reconstruction of the Temple Balsall 27-07-2011 formation
1. | Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
2. | Construct the circumscribed square of circle 1, sides horizontal and vertical.
3. | Draw the connecting line between the center of circle 1 and the upper righthand angular point of square 2.
4. | Construct the circumscribed square of circle 1, pointing up.
5. | Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersections of squares 2 and 4.
6. | Copy circle 1 to the upper intersection of circle 5 and the vertical centerline.
7. | Copy circle 5 to the center of circle 6.
8. | Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 7 at the upper side.
9. | Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 6 at the upper side.
10. | Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of squares 2 and 4 just above the horizontal centerline, passing through the upper righthand angular point of square 2.
11. | Copy circle 10 seven times, to the other intersections of squares 2 and 4.
12. | Construct a line, tangent to circle 10 and rightmost circle 11 at the lefthand sides, and extend this line up to circle 8 in both directions.
13. | Repeat step 12 another seven times, for all other pairs of adjacent circles 10 and 11 at corresponding sides, as shown.
14. | Draw the ray of circle 8, passing through the center of circle 10.
15. | Repeat step 14 another seven times, for all rays passing through the centers of circles 11.
16. | Construct a line parallel to line 12, passing through the lefthand intersection of circle 10 and ray 14, and extending up to circle 8 in both directions.
17. | Repeat step 16 another seven times, with respect to all lines 13, passing through corresponding intersections, as shown.
18. | Construct a circle concentric to circle 10, tangent to line 16.
19. | Copy circle 18 seven times, to the centers of circles 11.
20. | Construct a circle centered at the intersection of line 12 and upper horizontal line 13, tangent to line 16.
21. | Construct a line parallel to line 12, tangent to circle 20 at the lefthand side, and extending up to circle 8 in both directions.
22. | Repeat steps 20 and 21 another seven times, with respect to all lines 13, at corresponding positions, as shown.
23. | Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection just below circle 20 of line 12 and the corresponding line 17, as shown.
24. | Copy circle 23 eight times, to the centers of circles 10 and 11.
25. | Draw the connecting line between the righthand intersection of circle 10 and rightmost circle 11, and the righthand intersection of circle 8 and the upper horizontal line 17.
26. | Copy line 25, while mirroring with respect to the horizontal centerline.
27. | Repeat steps 25 and 26 another seven times, with respect to all other pairs of adjacent circles 10 and 11 at corresponding positions, as shown.
28. | Circles 1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 18, 19 and 24, and lines 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 25, 26 and 27, are used for the final reconstruction.
