Reconstruction of the
Kingstone Coombes 9-06-2011 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 2.

4. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 3, pointing down.

5. Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 4.

6. Construct a circle centered at the top of triangle 2, tangent to circle 5 at the upper side.

7. Construct a circle centered at the lower lefthand angular point of triangle 2, tangent to circle 5 at the lower lefthand side.

8. Construct a circle centered at the lower righthand angular point of triangle 2, tangent to circle 5 at the lower righthand side.

9. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the lower lefthand angular point of triangle 2 and the intersection of the lower side of triangle 2 and the vertical centerline.

10. Copy circle 9 to the center of circle 6.

11. Copy circle 9 to the center of circle 7.

12. Copy circle 9 to the center of circle 8.

13. Copy circle 5 to the righthand intersection of circles 1 and 10.

14. Copy circle 5 to the upper intersection of circles 1 and 11.

15. Copy circle 5 to the lower intersection of circles 1 and 12.

16. Construct a circle concentric to circle 6, tangent to circle 13 at the righthand side.

17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 7, tangent to circle 14 at the upper side.

18. Construct a circle concentric to circle 8, tangent to circle 15 at the lower side.

19. Copy circle 5 to the center of circle 6.

20. Draw the connecting line between the two intersections of circles 13 and 19.

21. Construct a circle concentric to circle 6, tangent to line 20.

22. Copy circle 21 to the center of circle 7.

23. Copy circle 21 to the center of circle 8.

24. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circles 1 and 21, tangent to circle 16 at the righthand side.

25. Copy circle 24 two times, to the upper intersection of circles 1 and 22 and to the lower intersection of circles 1 and 23.

26. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 16 at the lower side.

27. Construct a circle centered at the lower intersection of circle 16 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 5 at the upper side.

28. Copy circle 27 to the righthand intersection of circle 1 and the horizontal centerline.

29. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 28 at the righthand side.

30. Draw two connecting lines, from the center of circle 1 to the upper lefthand and upper righthand angular points of triangle 4.

31. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 27 at the upper side.

32. Copy circle 27 two times, to the intersections of lines 30 and circle 31.

33. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 24 at the lower side.

34. Circles 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 24, 25, 26, 29, 32 and 33, are used for the final reconstruction.

35. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
