Reconstruction of the
Hannington 7-05-2011 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down.

3. Construct a circle centered at the lower angular point of triangle 2, passing through its upper righthand angular point.

4. Copy circle 3 to the upper lefthand angular point of triangle 2.

5. Copy circle 3 to the upper righthand angular point of triangle 2.

6. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing down.

7. Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, passing through the intersection of the righthand side of hexagon 6 and the horizontal centerline.

8. Copy circle 7 to the center of circle 5.

9. Copy circle 7 to the center of circle 3.

10. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersections of circles 3 and 9 with the vertical centerline.

11. Copy circle 10 to the intersection of the upper side of triangle 2 and the vertical centerline.

12. Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, tangent to circle 11 at the lefthand side.

13. Copy circle 12 two times, to the centers of circles 3 and 5.

14. Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, tangent to circle 11 at the righthand side.

15. Copy circle 14 two times, to the centers of circles 3 and 5.

16. Copy circle 10 to the center of circle 4.

17. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circles 4 and 5, tangent to circle 16 at the upper side.

18. Copy circle 17 two times, to the lower intersections of circle 3 with circles 4 and 5.

19. Construct a circle passing through the inner intersections of circles 14 and 15, as shown.

20. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 19, pointing up.

21. Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 20.

22. Copy circle 21 to the center of circle 5.

23. Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, tangent to circle 22 at the righthand side.

24. Copy circle 23 two times, to the centers of circles 3 and 5.

25. Circles 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 23 and 24 are used for the final reconstruction.

28. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
