Reconstruction of the
Waden Hill (2) 1-07-2009 formation
(without the inner details)

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed heptagon (regular 7-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Draw the seven rays of heptagon 2, from the center of circle 1 to the angular points. Number these rays and/or the angular points 1 through 7 counterclockwise, beginning with the righthand one just above the horizontal centerline.

4. Draw the connecting line between the angular points of heptagon 2 nrs. 4 and 7.

5. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 4.

6. Copy circle 5 to the top of heptagon 2.

7. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 6 at the lower side.

8. Copy circle 5 seven times, to the intersections of circle 7 and rays 3.

9. Draw the connecting line between the intersections of circle 5 and rays 3 nrs. 1 and 3.

10. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 9.

11. Construct the inscribed heptagon of circle 1, pointing down.

12. Draw the seven rays of heptagon 11, from the center of circle 1 to the angular points. Number these rays 8 through 14 counterclockwise, beginning with the righthand one just above the horizontal centerline.

13. Copy circle 10 to the intersection of the lower side of heptagon 2 and ray 12 nr. 13, and move this circle (copy and delete original) to its own intersection with this ray.

14. Repeat step 13 six times, for the other rays 12 and sides of heptagon 2, as shown.

15. Draw the connecting line between the intersections of circle 10 and rays 3 nrs. 4 and 7.

16. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 15.

17. Draw a line from the center of circle 1, tangent to the lower lefthand circle 8 at the righthand side, and extend this line up to circle 1.

18. Copy circle 16 to the intersection of the lower side of heptagon 2 and line 17.

19. Draw a line from the center of circle 1, tangent to the lower righthand circle 8 at the lefthand side, and extend this line up to circle 1.

20. Copy circle 16 to the intersection of the lower side of heptagon 2 and line 19.

21. Copy circle 16 twelve more times, to the corresponding positions of circles 18 and 20, with respect to the other sides of heptagon 2, as shown.

22. Construct the inscribed heptagon of circle 16, pointing up.

23. Construct the inscribed circle of heptagon 22.

24. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the inner mutual intersections of circles 8 and 14.

25. Construct the inscribed regular 28-sided polygon of circle 24, with one angular point coincident with the righthand intersection of circle 24 and line 4.

26. Copy circle 23 twenty-eight times, to the angular points of polygon 25.

27. Draw the connecting line between the intersections of circle 23 with ray 3 nr. 1 and ray 12 nr. 14.

28. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersection of ray 12 nr. 8 and line 27.

29. Draw the connecting line between the intersections of circle 16 and rays 12 nrs. 8 and 11.

30. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 29.

31. Copy circle 30 forty-two times, to the centers of circles 18, 20, 21 and 26.

32. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 16 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to this circle at the lefthand side.

33. Copy circle 32 twenty-eight times, to the centers of circles 26.

34. Circles 8, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 26, 28, 31 and 33 are used for the final reconstruction.

35. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
