Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | ||||

Copy circle 1 to its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline. | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 2 at the righthand side. | ||||

Construct the inscribed octagon (regular 8-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing to the right. | ||||

Create the inscribed octagram (regular 8-pointed star) of circle 1, by drawing eight diagonals of octagon 4, connecting every angular point with every third one, as shown. | ||||

Construct the inscribed circle of the octagon enclosed by octagram 5, as shown. | ||||

7. |
Construct a circle centered at the rightmost angular point of octagon 4, passing through both adjacent angular points. | ||||

Copy circle 7 seven times, to all other angular points of octagon 4. | ||||

9. |
Construct a "two-points" circle, defined by the end-points of a centerline, with the points at the righthand intersections of circles 7 and 3 with the horizontal centerline. | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 9. | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 7, tangent to circle 10 at the righthand side. | ||||

Copy circle 11 seven times, to the centers of circles 8. | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 7, passing through the righthand intersection of the two rightmost circles 12. | ||||

Copy circle 13 seven times, to the centers of circles 8. | ||||

Circles 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 are used for the final reconstruction. | ||||
