Reconstruction of the
Juggler's Lane 21-08-2005 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing to the right.

3. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 2.

4. Construct the circumscribed equilateral triangle of circle 3, pointing up.

5. Construct the circumscribed circle of triangle 4.

6. Copy circle 5 to its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline, and move this circle to the corresponding intersection of itself.

7. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 6 at the righthand side.

8. Copy circle 1 to the center of circle 6.

9. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 8 at the lefthand side.

10. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up.

11. Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 10.

12. Copy circle 11 to the lefthand intersection of circle 9 and the horizontal centerline, and move this circle to its own righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline.

13. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 12, pointing to the right.

14. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 7, pointing to the right.

15. Draw the six rays of hexagon 14, from the center to the angular points.

16. Copy hexagon 13 five times, from its position on the leftmost ray 15 to the corresponding positions on the other rays 15, as shown.

17. Copy hexagon 2, hexagon 13 and the two leftmost hexagons 16, as one set, from the center of hexagon 2 to the rightmost angular point of hexagon 14, as shown.

18. Copy the set of hexagons 17 five times, and divide the sets over the other angular points of hexagon 14 in a similar way, along the other rays 15 (six in total), as shown.

19. Hexagons 2, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 18, and rays 15, together make up the ingredients for the final reconstruction.

20. Remove all superfluous parts, not visible within the formation itself.
