Reconstruction of the
Telegraph Hill 1-06-2002 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed dodecagon (regular 12-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing to the right.

3. Copy circle 1 to the rightmost angular point of dodecagon 2 (the right end-point of the horizontal centerline).

4. Copy circle 1 another 11 times, to all other angular points of dodecagon 2.

5. Two circles 4 intersect each other just above the middle of the right half of the horizontal centerline. Construct a circle centered at this intersection, passing through the corresponding intersection just below the centerline, as shown.

6. Copy circle 5 five times to every other corresponding intersections of circles 4, as shown.

7. Construct a circle centered at the right intersection of the leftmost circle 6 and the horizontal centerline, passing through the near intersection of the same circle and the uppermost circle 4, see figure.

8. Copy circle 7 to the center of circle 1.

9. Circles 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 form the basis for the reconstruction.

10. Leave out all lines and curves not visible in the formation.

11. Colour green all areas corresponding to flattened crop. This finishes the reconstruction of the Telegraph Hill 1-06-2002 formation.
