Reconstruction of the Crooked Soley 28-08-2002 formation
1.		Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
2.		Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down.
3.		Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 2.
4.		Draw the horizontal ray of circle 3 to the right.
5.		Copy ray 4 71 times, and distribute 72 rays in total evenly around the center of circle 3.
6.		Draw the connecting line between the intersections of both rays, left and right, just above the horizontal centerline, and circle 3.
7.		Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 6.
8.		Construct a circle centered at the right-hand intersection of circle 3 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to circle 7 at the left-hand side.
9.		Copy circle 8 5 times and distribute the 6 circles in total evenly around circle 3.
10.		Construct a (small) circle, tangent to circle 8 at the outside on the left, and tangent to both rightmost circles 9 at the inside, as shown.
11.		Copy circle 10 to the center of circle 8.
12.		Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 11 at the left-hand side.
13.		Construct the connecting line between the left-hand intersections of circle 8 and upper and lower left circles 9, as shown.
14.		Construct a (very small) circle centered at the left-hand intersection of circle 8 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to line 13.
15.		Construct two circles concentric to circle 8, tangent to both sides of circle 14.
16.		Clip off those parts of circles 15 falling outside circle 1 and inside circle 12.
17.		Copy the remaining 4 curves 16 71 times and distribute the 72 sets of curves in total evenly around the center of circle 1. Together with circles 1 and 12, they form the basis for the reconstruction.
18.		Remove all parts of curves 17, except for the "diamonds" that form the pattern of the formation, as shown. High resolution dwf-file
